FOR GLAMPING SITES, CABINS, AND VACATION RENTALS

Content writer for glamping sites,
cabins, and vacation rentals

Unique stays need a website that does more than show pretty photos. I write property pages, area guides, and website copy that help guests find you, picture themselves there, and book.

HOW GUESTS SEARCH

Guests don't start with your name

They start with what they want from the weekend. "Glamping with a hot tub near Lake George." "Dog-friendly cabin in Vermont." "Somewhere quiet for our anniversary with good Wi-Fi in case I have to work."

More of them are asking ChatGPT and Google's AI to plan the trip for them. Those tools recommend places whose websites spell out the details: pets, hot tubs, bathrooms, heat, how far it is to the nearest trailhead or winery. If your site doesn't say it, the AI can't recommend you for it.

BEFORE AND AFTER

What the difference looks like

What most rental sites say

Escape to our luxury glamping retreat and reconnect with nature.

What I'd write instead

The tent faces east, so you'll wake up to fog lifting off the pond. The coffee is already set out. All you have to do is unzip the door.

Why it matters

The first one could describe a thousand places. The details change for every property. The point is to write about yours so nobody could mistake it for someone else's.

WHAT I WRITE

What I can write for your property

Homepage and unit pages

A homepage and About page that tell the story behind the place, plus a page for each tent, cabin, dome, or unit so each one can rank on its own.

Area guides

Guides to the hikes, restaurants, wineries, and seasonal events near you.

Amenity and FAQ pages

Pages covering pets, bathrooms, heat, Wi-Fi, accessibility, and more.

Events, emails, and social

Event and retreat pages for weddings, workshops, and group bookings, plus emails to past guests and social captions that bring people back.

FROM THE OTHER SIDE

Written by someone who knows the other side of a booking

I co-own a property management and Airbnb cleaning company in Upstate New York. I know what guests ask before they book, what they complain about after, and which details keep a stay running smoothly between check-out and check-in.

That shows up in the copy. Your check-in instructions are clear, the house rules don't sound cold, and the questions guests message you about at 10 p.m. get answered on the website first.

EXPERIENCE

Stays I've written for

I've written for glamping properties, a converted silo stay in Montana, cabins and a retreat venue in Vermont, and a horse farm bed and breakfast in Kentucky. That work has included full website rewrites, area guides, About pages, and brand voice for social media.

FAQ

Common questions from property owners

Do you write for one cabin or a whole property?

Both. A single unit usually needs a strong homepage, a stay page, and an area guide. Larger properties often need a page for each unit, plus event and group pages.

Do you only write about glamping?

No. I've written for cabins, farm stays, bed and breakfasts, retreat venues, and other unique stays.

Can you help with seasonal or event pages?

Yes. Fall foliage weekends, winter stays, weddings, and retreats all bring in different searches, and each can have its own page.
